our food market

Fact: one in five residents in Westchester County is food insecure. According to the USDA's definition, food insecure families do not have "access at all times to enough food for active, healthy living."  By providing monthly supplemental food, the Community Center of Northern Westchester helped to fill this gap for almost 3,000 families in more than 38 Northern Westchester communities during 2021.

Our support for neighbors in need begins with our choice food market which allows our families to personally shop for their groceries; choosing the canned items, fresh produce, and dairy items they prefer and need most.

  • Each family can choose from fresh fruits & vegetables, meat & eggs and shelf stable canned and dry goods. We also provide essential toiletries such as Depends, feminine hygiene products, diapers and wipes to any who need.

  • For our local seniors or those with underlying health issues, our dedicated volunteers are providing home delivery of food and essential supplies.

  • We communicate with other food pantries and agencies to coordinate resources and ensure that the needs of those in our community struggling to make ends meet are met.

If you or someone you know needs support please visit our food pantry during our regular hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays 10AM - 4PM, Thursdays 12PM - 6PM, and Saturdays 10AM - 1PM.

We welcome and depend on donations of food to help stock our Food Pantry. Click here to see where and when to donate food, and to see what foods we now need the most.
