our CLOTHING BOUTIQUE

“In the Clothing Boutique we have been able to get clothing for all occasions, for work and daily life, and for our children, too.”
— D.R.

Families struggling to make ends meet face difficult choices: putting food on the table, paying for a roof over their heads, costs to get to work, and costs of health care for their families.  For some, this means they and their children lack the clothes they need to weather the seasons, and to clothe their families to live with dignity in our community.

The Community Center of Northern Westchester helps to relieve the burden of clothing purchases for these families, by offering them gently used clothing, free of charge, donated by people like you.

Your donations help provide:

  • Work clothing they need to interview for, and keep, jobs they need;
  • Everyday school clothing for children;
  • Athletic attire and shoes, so kids can go out for teams like their schoolmates; or
  • Promwear, so high schoolers can realize their dream of attending their school prom.

We welcome donations of clean, gently used, seasonal clothing, shoes and linens. We accept fall and winter clothing from September through March, and spring and summer clothing from April through August.

As in our food pantry, families in need can choose used clothing they need for their families in our clothing bank – free of charge.  In this way, they can “shop” with dignity: that’s why we call it our “Clothing Boutique.”  .
