donate clothing
We are currently accepting donations of SPRING AND SUMMER CLOTHING ONLY.
Please drop off your clean, gently used seasonal clothing, shoes and linens during our regular hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You may drop off your clothing donations and have them weighed in at the rear of the Center in our donation room. We appreciate your generous donations.
We accept fall and winter clothing from September through March, and spring and summer clothing from March through August.
Unfortunately, the Center cannot accept used underwear, sleepwear or swimwear, household goods, toys, or stuffed animals. We are pleased to receive gently used children's books. If you have donations of houseware items, please visit our friends at the Katonah Thrift Shop across the street at 71 Bedford Road.
SPECIAL CLOTHING DRIVES
The Center hosts special clothing drives throughout the year. Some of the drives we find really special:
PROM DRIVE
We collect gently used prom dresses, formal wear for men, and shoes, so local high schoolers can realize their dream of attending their prom.
SHARE THE WARMTH
During the months of October and November, our Share the Warmth drive collects new gloves, hats, socks and blankets for children (infant through age 18). We will distribute these items during the month of December. We gratefully accept donations any time the Center is open, beginning November 1st. ORGANIZE A DRIVE
Organize your own clothing drive, and make a difference to local families in need. Rally your family, friends, school, team or organization to collect gently used seasonal clothes. Consider a special drive for winter coats and boots, or holiday clothes.
