People of all ages volunteer at the Center:
from teenagers earning community service to retirees

Some work a regular shift each week while others volunteer as needed. Most volunteers are assigned to one of three areas — the Donations Room, the Food Pantry, or the Clothing Bank — and usually work along with one or two other volunteers on the same shift.  

There are two shifts each weekday,  10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, and one on Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  The Center is closed on Sunday and Monday, when local public schools have snow days and on all major holidays.

Community Service Volunteers are asked to volunteer a minimum of three shifts of three hours each. Students usually volunteer on Saturdays or during vacation breaks.
